Now that we're reaching the end of the course I'd like to remind my students of the message I've been trying to put accross. The main thing I intend to teach everyone is the value of independent learning. Learners should be reflective, that is, they should know what their weak spots are, set their own goals and plan their work to achieve those goals. It is as simple as that.

Those of you who went to Manchester had the chance to meet Les. Yes, I mean the guy whose tongue machingunned away in a right broad accent from Newcastle. The thing is that he has kindly offered to answer e-mails from any of my students who are interested in having a Geordie penpal. Anyone who is interested in having his mail address may just ask me in class.
