Almost everything is on you tube 4 u to check out!!! This is a very useful activity if you want to focus on pronunciation , rhythm and ultimately speed.

Remember you have these rhymes printed out. A good exercise progression could be identifying sound patterns such as rhyme and vowel repetition. Then, you can proceed to say the patterns aloud following the artist's flow. Finally, you can start learning some lines by heart parroting pronunciation and rhythm. Once you know a good old chunk you can use it as a kind of mantra to warm your tongue up to prepare for some real English.

This is a very juicy song for a good old pronunciation polishing. You can practice reading the lyrics following the slow lullaby mood of the music. The aim of the exercise is to parrot the voices of the three artists' murmuring voices.

Here you have two versions of the same song. The first link will get you the official video for the song poems. The second is a live performance of the same song. The third link will enable you to have a look at the lyrics.

There's still some truly inspired lyricists out there:

Hope there’s someone Who’ll take care of me When I die, will I go Hope there’s someone Who’ll set my heart free Nice to hold when I’m tired There’s a ghost on the horizon When I go to bed How can I fall asleep at night How will I rest my head Oh I’m scared of the middle place Between light and nowhere I don’t want to be the one Left in there, left in there There’s a man on the horizon Wish that I’d go to bed If I fall to his feet tonight Will allow rest my head So here’s hoping I will not drown Or paralyze in light And godsend I don’t want to go To the seal’s watershed Hope there’s someone Who’ll take care of me When I die, Will I go Hope there’s someone Who’ll set my heart free Nice to hold when I’m tired .-

Song: Hope there's someone

Masters of slow beats and poignancy, Massive Attack's records bear the traces of different musical roots turning them into something NEW.
