The woman yawned. A long lazy noise came right out of her and was gone. It was an unearthly sound. She felt extremely tired
after a bad night's sleep. Nightmares had plagued her since her early
childhood but their vividness had increased of late. They had
become virtually indistinguishable from reality.

As she turned around, a note lying over the pillow attracted her attention. He did it again. Last time it was a four months runaway.
She squeezed the sheets between her hands and a terrible feeling went all over her body. She was overcome by sadness. As her husband she also needed some answers about her past but the harder she tried to get close to him to share her feelings the further he run. It was time to let bygones be bygones.
