Bros! Sis! come on! cheer up!!!! it´s only stormy weather!!!!!!!!!! beside confinement, telecommuting, sexual aisolation...

nacho said...

Hahahaha. Yeah! You’re right, Rafa. I got a bit carried away. I guess it would make a lot of sense to try method acting when one s trying to learn a second language, though. Don’t you think?

This lockdown is being a real epiphany for me. I´m using comedy method acting, ask Lola!!! Her waves of laughter encourage me to continue with my daily matinal sessions. Yesterday it was gorgeous!!!! My study room, my theatre!!!!!

Rafa said...

Damn unknown!!!!! It´s Rafa!!! Goddamn it!!!!!

Rafa, I would love to watch your acting rehearsals! They must be to be in stitches.

Regarding the videos, I would say that I specially got engaged with the anecdote of Zoe Kravitz and Prince and the one of the Paul McCartney's party. The world of fame... where everyone suddenly come across other celebrities... We probably would have had the opportunity to run into Taylor Swift or Prince too in a party.

Anyway, the way the host addresses the interview catches my attention, although the last video about the choreographer seems to me kind of inspirational too.

I'll keep on trying my drama and performing skills. xD

Rafa said...

Not to show it!!!! Rocío, only to laugh!!!!!! I was tempted but on a second thought I regretted!!!!! I focussed on Zoe Kravitz, She looked like a posh and graceful teenager!!!!
Anyway, how are you doing? Everything´s ok?

Rafa said...

You´ll never guess who I have just come across with... I´d bet my bottom dollar you won´t !!!!!!! Jjajajaj jjajaj

Let me guess...our supa dupa teacher?

Unknown said...

Tam, you hit the nail on the head!!!!!!
Apparently, He is ok! the lockdown hasn´t changed him so much, or at least that´s what I could see. He isn´t still fundamentally different from the teacher at school!!!!

Tamara said...

Hahahahaha, glad to hear it! Stay put, guys!!!

How are y'all doing? Yeah. I'm still basically the same pain-in-backside, unduly intense teacher I was back before the lockdown came into force.

I clocked Mr Unknown as I was strolling to the grocery store. He only looked vaguely familiar at first. I did a double take and, although he had his back to me, it soon dawned on me that it was indeed Rafa. His earrings and colouful new balance trainers were the give-away. As it turns out we live within less than 100 metres from each other!!!

I only could say, "I can´t believe it", I lost a good opportunity to show off my C1 level vocab... "My greatly admired teacher, it´s totally unbelievable " it didn´t seem Seville any more, I thought I was in Newcastle even without catching an aircraft!!!!!

nacho said...

I wish that were true but I’m afraid my accent isn’t anything like a proper Geordie accent anymore. I don’t sound like her, do I?

Rafa said...

"Anymore" means it was!!!!!!!! The YouTuber seems a linguistic teacher and not a real working-class background Geordie, even I can somehow understand her!!!!!

nacho said...

My accent has always been a weird mix but I guess it sounded a lot more ‘northern’ a while back. Anyway, congrats, Rafa! Even if she herself admits she doesn’t speak like a proper Geordie, she still really does have quite a thick accent. Granted, she keeps it strictly standard when it comes to the vocabulary she chooses to use in that clip.

Rafa said...

Interesting!!! Highly impressed too about the first video about "my vag" song!!!!!!! your widely boundless music taste is gorgeous!!!!! I chose it to do the writing because of the more understandable accent... then I look for the song and "firecrackers". Not really my cup of tea!!!! jjjajjajajaj We have an utterly opposed musical taste!!!!
but...
stay put

Rafa said...

´looked´ of course!

nacho said...

I m sure there probably are quite a few points of contact when it comes to our musical tastes.

nacho said...

Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Satie, Preisner, Badalamenti, Umebayashi?

Unknown said...

Till Satie, all right!!!! but I´d rather listen to Old Music, before Romanticism period, Beethoven is the border of my music tastes, excluding Wagner, Prokofiev and other Russian composers, Fauré and other French composers, Puccini and other Italian composers, Martinu and other Czech composers and... and... and... and film music doesn´t really draw my attention unless being classical music too!!! Exceptions could be Glass, Nyman and Morricone...
But I´m really fond of Purcell, Bach, Haendel, Praetorius, and Monteverdi!!!!!!

Be safe and secure!!!!!
Stay put
