As you all know regular classes were suspended last weekend. I hope everyone is doing fine and feeling up to keeping their English on point, though. Here's what I propose for this week:
Textbook:
Continue working on unit 6
6.3 Pages 74 and 75
6.4 page 76
Blog:
Watch this clip. Make a list of 20 adjectives and 20 lexical collocations.
Watch this ted talk twice. Take notes. Sum up the talk orally.

Thank you!!!! I hope we all are ok to cope with this enclosed situation!!!! Come on guys!!!!! Nacho doesn’t forget us!!!!
Don’t let me alone here!!!! It’s cold!!!!!!
Although the title of the post seems to have been taken from a suspense movie, we'll do our best so as to keep updated. Thanks Nacho! I hope not to have more than the "WEEK 2" post. Strength and patience!
Hello Ro!!!!! I miss you siting by my side, now I have my dog, Keto!!!!!! Things look worse than 2 weeks!!!!!
Thanks Nacho for keeping us busy!!
Thanks, Nacho! It's important to keep busy these days.
Cheer up, guys, we will overcome it!
Tam!!!!!!! I miss you! It’s just an entry, not a poem!!!!
Jjjjaaaa we were synchronized!!!!!!
Hi Lola, long time no see!!!!!
Zombie apocalypse: week one :P
Hi Rafa...hope all this gets over soon!!
You know me! I’m pessimistic about that issue, but each day its effort!!!!!
You’re all more than welcome. Yeah. Let’s hope this situation doesn’t last long. It’s going to take a massive toll as it is. I don’t even want to imagine what the ripple effects would be if it all went on for longer. Anyway, let me know what you think about the clips i asked you to watch.
Did you see the “I don’t understand anything” fucking video about bi-racial people!!!!!?????I feel really awkward and mystified!!!!! Help!!!!!!
Just kidding!!!!! With subtitles is not so weird!!!!
Really moving, the TED video. This encourages me to go on learning English. I can understand her without subtitles, Brave!
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie s the deal. She writes beautifully; shrewd sense of humour and tons of insightful cultural observations that ring true. I recommend Americanah. Try listening to it!

Lola has read it! She recommended it us
Coooooool. I ve read three of her novels and I d say Americanah s the least hard going both language wise and in terms of subject matter.
It taughts me loads of matters about black people especially women and curly hair too hahahaha.
Keto is the best company you could have right now! Hope see you soon!
I've just watched both videos and I felt a little bit like Rafa. The mixed-race one seemed hard to understand the first time I listened to it. Then, I did it again with subtitles and it didnt included so difficult expressions or vocabulary, but the thing was the speed and the accent. However, I have laughed a lot with some of the speakers, specially the pair of boys. Regarding the TED talk, I became self-involved with Chimamanda's way of talking and telling her non-single and quite beautiful story. I have no doubt of the beauty of her books.
Hi mates! No 2 week C1.2!!!!!! for me it’s gorgeous! I thoughtfully recommend you going to metopera.org and see Eugein Oneigin, by Tchaikovsky. It’s in Russian but with subtitles in English it’s a good exercise! This is MY OPERA, although I prefer Barroque ones. It’s only today ET, not GMT!!!!!
I wish you all have a good confinement and you and families are on the best conditions, your grandfather too, Isabel!!!!
Hi! Mates! Astonishing how one loses track of the days during a quarantine!!!!!
By the way, unknown is Rafa. I’ve just read the former sentence in Fiesta: the sun also rises by Hemingway. I don’t like the book but surprisingly it’s easy to read. Cheer up!!!!!
Fiesta wasn’t really my cup of tea either. I found relating to most of the characters in the novel rather difficult. But your pinching phrases from Hemingway... Clever move, Mr Unknown!
Wait for other posts!!!!! Not only me but, we all are going to catch you out!!!!!!
